Hi. I've recently bought a Sony desktop recorder model TCM-939 off Ebay, but it was described as a portable, which it is to an extent, but not portable enough to fit in your pocket, whichis somewhat annoying, so I'm selling for £20 if anybody's interested? Surely some of you still swear by cassette tapes round here?

The unit is black, toploading with a big square integral speaker and microphone on top with 5 control buttons along the front edge nearest you. It also has a retractable carry handle, volume control slider and jacks for external microphone, AC adapter, also included and headphone jack. NB: AC adapter is 240 amps, but the unit can also run on 4 AA batteries. For sale £20 plus around £6.00 postage and packing (all together, that would be around US$52. Any takers? Payment via Paypal only please for obvious reasons. Any takers? PM me, Hedwig (user ID 3189) if interested.

Cheers.

Jen.

O, sorry, I forgot, just in front of the cassette deck, there's a smaller push button which is probably a cue and review button, before you guys all have me for the Trades Descriptions act, lmfao.

Ah! Another big, big mistake I just remembered this morning. I said the AC adapter for this recorder was 240 Amps. O no. It is 240 volts and just 13 Amps as is standard in Britain.

Sorry about that, lmfao.
